Recitals and group performances—our practicums—give students opportunities to share what they’re learning and make music with others. Your teacher can help you find an opportunity that suits your experience.
Our included token system adds another way to celebrate effort: students can earn tokens toward games, gift cards, and treats.
Questions before your first lesson?
Do I need experience to start singing lessons?
No. Beginners are welcome. Your teacher will help you explore your voice and develop musical foundations at a manageable pace.
Do you teach children, teens, and adults?
Yes. We work with all three age groups and adapt songs and activities to the student. For a young child, ask our team about readiness and the best starting point.
What happens at a free trial?
You’ll meet a teacher, talk about your goals, and experience a voice lesson before deciding whether to enroll. You can bring a song idea, but you do not need to prepare a performance.
How much are ongoing voice lessons?
Tuition is $150 per month for weekly 30-minute private lessons. It includes access to recitals, group performances (practicums), and our token rewards system. Our team can explain enrollment details and current availability.
Are recitals and group performances included?
Yes. Tuition includes access to a variety of recital opportunities and group performances, which we call practicums. Ask your teacher about upcoming events and opportunities suited to your level.
How does the token rewards system work?
Students can earn tokens and redeem them for prizes such as games, gift cards, and treats. The system is included in tuition. Your teacher can explain how tokens are earned and which rewards are available.
Can I choose the songs and styles I learn?
Yes. Share the music you enjoy, whether that’s classical, pop, rock, jazz, country, gospel, or musical theater. Your teacher will help select material that fits your voice, experience, and goals.
Can you help me prepare for an audition?
Yes. We can help you choose suitable songs, prepare your material, and work on interpretation and stage presence for school or community theater, choir tryouts, and other singing opportunities.
Do I need to bring equipment?
You do not need to purchase an instrument for your voice trial. If you have a song you’d like to explore, bring its title or your sheet music. Ask our team if your teacher would like anything else for your first visit.
Where are lessons held?
Visit DeGamba at 23168 St Francis Boulevard, Suite 300, St Francis, MN 55070. We welcome singers from St. Francis and surrounding communities, including Elk River, North Branch, Anoka, and Blaine.
How do scheduling changes work?
Contact our team when you need help with your lesson time. We’ll explain the current rescheduling policy and available options before you enroll.
