Recitals and group performances, which we call practicums, give students opportunities to share their progress and gain experience playing with others.

Students can earn tokens toward prizes such as games, gift cards, and treats. Ask your teacher how the included rewards system works.

Are beginners welcome?
Yes. We welcome beginners, returning players, and experienced musicians. Your teacher will tailor instruction to your starting point and goals.
Which woodwind instruments do you teach?
Ask us about flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, and other woodwind lessons. Teacher availability varies by instrument; our team can confirm a suitable option before you book.
Do you teach kids, teens, and adults?
Yes. Lessons are personalized for different ages and experience levels. For younger children, ask us about readiness and an appropriate instrument.
Do I need to bring an instrument to my trial?
Contact our team before your visit to confirm what to bring and whether an instrument is available for your trial. If you already own or rent an instrument, tell us which one you play.
Can lessons help with school band?
Yes. Bring your band music and let your teacher know what you are working toward. Lessons can focus on notes, rhythm, tone, technique, and effective practice between rehearsals.
Can you help with auditions or competitions?
Yes. Share the requirements and date with our team so we can discuss teacher availability and preparation. Your lessons can address repertoire, scales, sight reading, and performance skills appropriate to the audition.
How much are ongoing lessons?
Tuition is $150 per month for weekly 30-minute private lessons, including access to recitals, group performances (practicums), and the token rewards system. Your first trial lesson is free.
Are recitals and practicums included?
Yes. Tuition includes access to a variety of recital opportunities and group performances, which we call practicums. Ask your teacher about upcoming events suited to your experience.
How does the token system work?
Students can earn tokens and redeem them for prizes such as games, gift cards, and treats. Your teacher can explain how to earn tokens and which rewards are available.
Can I learn a second woodwind instrument?
Tell us which instrument you play and which you would like to explore. We can discuss teacher availability and a suitable plan for learning another instrument.
Where are lessons held?
Visit DeGamba at 23168 St Francis Boulevard, Suite 300, St Francis, MN 55070. We welcome students from St. Francis, Oak Grove, Bethel, Anoka, and surrounding communities.
How do scheduling changes work?
