Justin Lawrence

Justin Lawrence holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD), with a focus on viola and violin. Throughout his twelve-year musical journey, Justin has earned multiple "Superior" solo ratings from the Minnesota State High School League, participated in the Minnesota All-State Orchestra (2018-2019), and received numerous music scholarships during all four years at UMD.As a teacher, Justin is gentle and compassionate, fostering a learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes. His teaching philosophy is guided by the motto: "Say what you mean, mean what you say, but don't say it mean." He is committed to treating students with dignity and kindness while providing constructive feedback, helping them recognize their flaws and guiding them toward improvement with clarity and support.
