Richard Joseph, a tenor artist in the Twin Cities, has an impressive musical background. He has performed with the Minnesota Opera, Minnesota Chorale, Metropolitan Symphony, and the Lyra Baroque Orchestra.
Richard is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) at the University of Minnesota under the tutelage of Adriana Zabala. He holds a Master of Music (M.M.) in Voice Performance from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music from Clearwater Christian College.
Recent highlights in his career include performing the role of Johnny Inkslinger in Paul Bunyan with Vocal Essence, singing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Minnesota Chorale and Metropolitan Symphony, and taking on various roles with Mill City Summer Opera, including Spoletta in Puccini’s Tosca. He has also participated in productions with the University Opera Theater and Minnesota Opera.
In addition to his performances, Richard is involved in teaching Opera Workshop, voice lessons, and other voice-related courses.
